How I work

Ask questions, understand connections, take responsibility.

My career began in electronics and software development. It progressed through software architecture, technical project management and product ownership to business analysis, requirements engineering and system architecture.

I connect the business perspective with the questions that development and architecture teams need to answer. I am particularly interested in the terminology, rules and dependencies that seem self-evident at first but turn out to mean different things to different people.

I have been self-employed since 2003. I prefer longer-term work within demanding project organisations, supporting business and technical clarification through decisions and successive stages of implementation.
